Facilities Management

Qwest provides facilities management services to a diverse estate, from historic listed buildings through to leisure centres, and building users ranging from councillors to children. Over 47,000 square meters of buildings are maintained, repaired, cleaned and cared for by our mobile and static workforce. Our approach is based on understanding buildings and how they are used in order to deliver the best service.

A safe, clean and statutory compliant environment helps your organisation be more productive and deliver effectively; we provide an efficient service adapted to the needs of your building users. At Cheshire West and Chester Council, we have improved standards; increasing productivity by over 25% and realised a six figure saving.

Our working practices have been standardised using insight into how buildings are actually used by people; resulting in an industry best practice service that is tailored to the needs of stakeholders and improved customer satisfaction.

Performance Management

Performance is continually monitored across the estate using our world leading computer aided facilities management (CAFM) system.  The system ensures assets and resources operate at maximum efficiency and our self-monitoring generates performance data for reporting, identifying opportunities to improve and any corrective action.

People are at the centre of our success; we invest in training, communicate regularly and encourage community involvement through paid volunteering days. At Cheshire West and Chester Council, improvements have been generated through a combination of employee engagement, standardisation, innovation and informed management.
